I spend most of my time on high performance I/O. I am involved in several software projects at ANL: You might find some software of interest on my github or gitlab spaces:

These days I am less involved in PVFS: a parallel file system for linux clusters: www.pvfs.org. If you ask me a question about PVFS, I may not have the answer but I'll know exactly who does.

I organized the IASDS 2011 workshop: http://www.mcs.anl.gov/events/workshops/iasds11/.
