The SIAM Conference on Uncertainty Quantification took place in Savannah, Georgia March 30 – April 3, 2014. Uncertainty quantification is key for achieving validated predictive computations in a wide range of scientific and engineering applications. The field relies on a broad range of mathematics and statistics groundwork, with associated algorithmic and computational development. The goal of the meeting was to provide a forum for the sharing of ideas, and to enhance communication among this diverse group of technical experts, thereby contributing to future advances in the field.
Mihai Anitescu and Guang Lin have organized a minsymposium series together with the other MMICCS centers:
Victor Zavala organized a minisymposium on UQ on energy systems:
Alexandre Tartakovsky, Cosmin Petra and Jean-Paul Watson also presented.
