Hans Kaper is an applied mathematician interested in the mathematics of physical systems. His research focuses on the development of analytical and numerical methods for differential equations describing these systems. In addition, he is interested in sound, music, and the arts in general. He has written and edited some books, authored (and co-authored) many articles, and has given talks in various places on a variety of topics.
