Bill Gropp Named a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery

Congratulations to Bill Gropp, who was recently named a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery. This is ACM most prestigious member grade, recognizing the top 1 percent of ACM members for their outstanding accomplishments in computing and information technology and/or outstanding service to ACM and the larger computing community. Bill was cited for his pioneering work in message passing, partial differential equation solvers, and parallel methods for advanced scientific computing.
