Catlett named one of Government Technology’s 25 top innovators in the public sector

October 14, 2016

Charlie Catlett, a senior computer scientist in the Mathematics and Computer Science (MCS) Division at Argonne National Laboratory and director of Urban Center for Computation and Data, was named one of 25 “Doers, Dreamers & Drivers” by Government Technology magazine.

The magazine cites Catlett as a “champion of the movement to create partnerships between cities and research institutions,” putting to use the massive amounts of data that government generates.

“This is a nice recognition for me, which really reflects the fantastic work being done by a team Pete Beckman and I are leading at MCS and at the Computation Institute,” said Catlett.
