Gregory Voth receives theoretical chemistry award

CI faculty and senior fellow Gregory Voth received the 2013 Award in Theoretical Chemistry from the Physical Chemistry Division of the American Chemical Society. The award was given to Voth "for the development and application of powerful new theoretical and computational methods in the study of biomolecules, liquids, materials, and quantum mechanical systems." The 2013 recipients will be honored in a special awards symposium on Tuesday afternoon of the Fall ACS National Meeting in Indianapolis. Voth is Haig P. Papazian Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago, Senior Scientist at Argonne National Laboratory and Director of the Center for Multiscale Theory and Simulation.
