MCS researchers play key role in Argonne Training Program on Extreme-Scale ComputingJuly 30, 2018
A dozen researchers from Argonne’s Mathematics and Computer Science Division will participate in the sixth annual Argonne Training Program on Extreme-Scale Computing, to be held July 29 – August 10, 2018.
The program provides intensive, two-week training on the key skills, approaches, and tools to design, implement, and execute computational science and engineering applications on current high-end computing systems and the leadership-class computing systems of the future.
The MCS Division presentations will cover a wide range of topics:
- Introduction to parallel computing
- Data models and APIs
- Data management
- Time Integration and nonlinear solvers
- Numerical optimization
- Agile methodologies
- Verification and developing a testing program
- Testing, code coverage
- Refactoring with a case study
