A Beowulf class computer for experiments in distributed rendering and visualization.
Collage is an eighteen node linux cluster. We're running a stripped down version of RedHat Linux on each node. Collage has been built to support experiments in the effectiveness of commodity graphics and rendering hardware and provides us a vehicle to do experiments with ActiveMural. Currently Collage does not have any of the beowulf software installed, it is a cluster of stock hardware and software.
