MCS YukonSGI Reality Monster |
yukon.mcs.anl.gov is an SGI Onyx2 Reality Monster operated by the Mathematics and Computer Science Division of Argonne National Laboratory. For more general information on the SGI Onyx2 series, please see the SGI's Silicon Surf pages. Yukon is a CCST computing resource intended to be used to further advanced research in graphics and in merging scientific computation with immersive visualization systems. The Reality Monster was purchased with Futures Lab and Distributed Supercomputing Lab funds, but is also being made available to MCS and CCST users who are pursuing graphics-based research. |
