Description:
Eclipse is an extensible, open source IDE (integrated development environment) that is available for Unix, Mac, and Windows systems. I will give an introduction to Eclipse as an IDE for software development using the Eclipse platform in combination with one or more Eclipse tools, such as CDT (for C/C++ development), JDT (for Java), Pydev (Python), and possibly other languages of interest. I will demo typical usage, such as editing code, compiling, running, and debugging.
