Description:
The objective of this seminar is to present the author's work in the conception, development and validation of new functionalities into the parallel and unstructured LES (large-eddy simulation) solver AVBP, and is based on her PhD thesis work and on recent progresses made at CERFACS on the subject. All this work is motivated by the rapid increase in computing power, which opens a new way for simulations that were prohibitive one decade ago.
