Description:
Tisha will introduce the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF), its mission, its current systems, and systems expected to arrive at Argonne in the near future. The ALCF (http://www.alcf.anl.gov/) is a national leadership computing facility designed to provide resources that make computationally intensive projects of the largest scales possible. Currently the ALCF supports 36 INCITE computational science projects covering disciplines as diverse as protein folding to modeling aircraft engines.
