TACC_stats is a job-oriented and logically structured version of the
conventional sysstat system performance monitor.  In addition to the
traditional information, TACC_stats records hardware performance
monitoring data, Lustre filesystem operation counts, and InfiniBand
device usage.  The core component is a collector executed on every host,
both at the beginning and end of job (via batch scheduler prolog and
epilog scripts), and periodically (via cron); collection requires no
cooperation from the job owner.  We will give a brief overview of the
design and implementation of TACC_stats, followed by an analysis of the
data collected over its first three months in production on TACC Ranger.
