Content Syndication

MCS publishes RSS feeds and an iCalendar file to help keep its community alert of current news and upcoming events.

RSS

To utilize this service, you will need a news reader (aka aggregator). There are many (many!) different kinds of readers and aggregators available. The majority are free of charge. Some are accessed through your web browser, while others are downloadable applications. All allow you to display and subscribe to the RSS feeds you want.

Web-based readers such as My Yahoo! and Google Reader; the Firefox browser; or the Thunderbird email application will allow you to add feeds directly to your bookmarks or personal page.

iCalendar

iCalendar is a standard format which many calendaring applications use to exchange data. Subscribe to the iCalendar file using calendar software (such as Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCal, or Mozilla Thunderbird with the Lightning add-on), and events will automatically appear in your calendar.
