Daniel Maldonado

Postdoctoral Appointee

Daniel Maldonado received his Ph.D. from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

He has been working on the simulation of electrical power networks, in particular on the development of DMNetwork, a framework in the PETSc library that provides a set of abstracttions to represent general unstructured networks. He has also collaborated with MCS researchers on a paper titled "Parallel dynamics simulation using a Krylov-Schwarz linear solution scheme," which appeared in a special issue of IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid.
