Laura Zamboni is a 2011 winner of an ASCR Leadership Computing Challenge Award of 40 millino hours on the Blue Gene/P -- the first such award to a project led by a postdoctoral appointee.
She is extremely interested in mentoring and is a regular participant in Argonne's Women in Science and Technology program.
She received her Ph.D. at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, Italy, in collaboration with the University of California, Los Angeles.
