Matt Menickelly received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in mathematics from Miami University and is currently a Ph.D. student at Lehigh University in the Industrial and System Engineering Department. He was a student intern at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in 2016-2017 and was a Givens Associate at Argonne in the summer of 2014, where he worked on nonsmooth derivative-free optimization.
Matt has received several honors, including being named a the Rossin Doctoral Fellow at Lehigh University in 2014; the program seeks to develop teaching and presentation skills in doctoral students who may be interested in academic careers.
