Sumit Narayan is a software development specialist in the MCS Division. Prior to working at Argonne, he spent over three years working as a senior software engineer in the file systems team of EMC's Unified Storage Division, working on its VNX/VNXe product line.
He obtained his doctorate in 2010 and master's degree in 2004 in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Connecticut. His experience also includes a short stint at India's consulting firm MindTree in 2005 and little over a year as a research officer in Singapore's Data Storage institute.
