Wesley Bland's current projects include MPICH and GVR, as well as activities in the MPI Forum's Fault Tolerance Working Group.
He completed his Ph.D. under Dr. Jack Dongarra in the Innovative Computing Laboratory at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2013. He worked in George Bosilca's team to design an implement process fault tolerance in the Message Passing Interface and participated in efforts to standardize the work in the MPI Forum.
