Dr. Misun Min's research is focused on developing high-order numerical algorithms for efficient and accurate modeling for solving petascale-enabled problems in accelerator physics, nanotechnology-based applications, and lattice Boltzmann fluid simulations. Numerical techniques include spectral/spectral-element/spectral-element discontinuous Galerkin/Nedelec-element/Krylov subspace approximations based on hexahedral and tetrahedral element meshes. Her research combines theoretical work to develop stable, accurate, and fast numerical algorithms and software developments for high-performance architectures at extreme scale.
