I first joined MCS in 1998 as a student in the Systems group working on the Pkg software and helping design Chiba City, MCS' first linux cluster. I rejoined MCS in 2001 after a year in the private sector but this time as the system administrator for the Futures Laboratory. While here I have worked on scientific visualization systems and the Access Grid Toolkit among many other projects. Currently my time is spent maintaining and enhancing the UC/ANL TeraGrid RP cluster and advancing the CI infrastructure, which I primarily designed and built from the ground up.
