ZeptoOS

RADIX research objective:
Our mission is to develop the technologies required to dramatically increase the productivity of scientists developing applications for parallel supercomputers. The focus is fourfold: integration of parallel programming tools, reuse of parallel program components, development of scientific computing toolkits and portable libraries, and exploration of requirements of future parallel computers.

Examples of RADIX projects:

MPICH2 : A High Performance and Widely Portable Implementation of MPI
ROMIO : A High-Performance, Portable MPI-IO Implementation
Pmodels : Center for Programming Models for Scalable Parallel Computing
CIFTS : CiFTS : Coordinated Infrastructure for Fault Tolerant Systems
Cobalt : Component-Based Lightweight Toolkit
Darshan: Petascale I/O Characterization Tool
IOFSL : I/O Forwarding Scalability Layer
MPITypes : MPITypes: A Library for Processing MPI Datatypes outside MPI
PVFS : Parallel Virtual File System
Jumpshot : Performance Visualization for Parallel Programs
SPRUCE : Special PRiority and Urgent Computing Environment
