Abstract:
Cobalt is a set of component-based system software for system and resource management. It also includes a number of parallel tools.
Cobalt is composed of 3 parts. These are:
- HPC System Software - a resource manager for clusters and IBM BG/L systems
- Mpish - a parallel shell written in MPI
- Bcfg2 - a system configuration management tool
