The Argonne Smith-Waterman Sequence Searching Kernel (SWAT) contains different approaches for implementing the smith-waterman algorithm. A sequential version and a threaded parallel version are currently included in the release. Implementations with MPI, MPI+Threads, CUDA and MPI+CUDA will be coming soon.
