resoft(1) USER COMMANDS resoft(1) NAME resoft - rebuild software cache SYNOPSIS resoft [filename] DESCRIPTION The resoft command is used to rebuild and reload the user's software cache from the specified file. The software cache configures the user's environment to be able to run applica- tions specified in the user's .software file. The filename of the .software file can be specified on the command-line, and defaults to $HOME/.software. resoft is implemented as a shell function for the Bourne shell, and as a shell alias for the C shell.
