software(1) USER COMMANDS software(1) NAME software - list .software keys SYNOPSIS software software key [ key... ] software -k expression software -help DESCRIPTION software is a perl script that will list the current keys in the software environment database. These keys can be set in your $HOME/.software file to enable you to use applications. When invoked with no arguments, software displays the list of all .software keys and macros. When invoked with a key (or list of keys), it will print the key (if it is in the database) and the description of the key. The software database can also be searched, using the -k expression option. All database entries which match expression in the key name or description will be printed, along with their description.
