Long ago and far away I was a developer for SPSS Inc.
Then I moved to the Mathematics and Computer Science Division of Argonne National Laboratory to work in the Futures Lab. While there I helped found the Access Grid.
Now I work with Ian Foster and others in the Globus Alliance on issues related to distributed systems and Globus Software. Past work includes producing the Globus Toolkit 4.0 release, co-authoring a book on GT4, and talking with users of distributed computing technology to learn more about their requirements. Recent work is focused on Globus Online:
