Disc Golfing in Seattle

August 3rd, 1998.

I was out in Seattle for a week and managed to go out golfing a few times in between conferences. Here are pictures from the two sites I made it to: Lakewood King and Fort Steilacoom.

Happily, I ran into a cool fellow named Mike at Lakewood King, who offered to meet me the next day and head to Fort Steilacoom. I would have had a hard time finding the course and not getting lost on the course. And Mike was a blast to golf with.

Here are my notes on Lakewood King and Fort Steilacoom.

A view of the parking lot near hole 1 at Lakewood King. It was fairly dry at the time. Note the fact that it's fairly hilly... very typical for this course

Mike shooting a putt from behind a tree at Fort Steilacoom. This was a typical scene for this course. Dry, hilly, sparse trees.
