Initial Results for Wave Breaking

This animation shows breaking waves in an incompressible flow. Color contours correspond to density contours. The density ratio top to bottom is 1:8. A boundary layer flow is imposed in the top half of the domain, and a sinusoidal perturbation in the height of the density profile is given as an initial condition. The flow is periodic in the x-direction.
