I am interested in numerical linear algebra, and various related topics (including graph algorithms, multilinear algebra, data mining, and machine learning). I graduated from University of Minnesota under the guidance of Prof. Yousef Saad, and my thesis title was "Numerical linear algebra techniques for effective data analysis". Here at Argonne National Laboratory, I work with Mihai Anitescu on statistical analysis of peta-scale data, an interplay of statistics, optimization, linear algebra, and supercomputing.
