Abstract

We describe here two graphical tools that have been developed at Argonne National Laboratory for studying the behavior of parallel programs. In particular we describe recent enhancements to the upshot program that increase it scalability. We also give a preliminary report on the Program Animation Display Language (PADL), a system by which a user can design a custom animation system for his parallel program.
