Obtaining upshot

Upshot is available by anonymous ftp from info.mcs.anl.gov, in the directory pub/p4, file upshot.tar.Z. The distribution contains documentation and examples, as well as all the source code. It requires X11, Release 4 or later. To compile, it needs the Athena widgets. The alog package, with its associated portable microsecond timer subpackage, is available as a subdirectory of the p4 portable programming system, available as p4-1.2.tar.Z in the same directory.
