Ravi is a computational scientist in the Mathematics and Computer Science division at Argonne National Laboratory and a senior research fellow at the Computation Institute at the University of Chicago. In particular, he leads the Globus Genomics project (www.globus.org/genomics), which is widely used for genomics, proteomics, and other biomedical computations on Amazon cloud and other platforms.
