Beale-Orchard-Hays Prize
We are delighted to report that the NEOS team won the prestigious
Beale-Orchard-Hays prize for Excellence in Computational Mathematical
Programming. The presentation took place August 18 at the
18th International Symposium on Mathematical Programming in
Copenhagen.
The Beale-Orchard-Hays prize is awarded once every three years.
The cited paper is "Optimization on the NEOS Server", by
E. Dolan, R. Fourer, J. More', T. Munson, that appeared in
SIAM News (volume 35, #6, 2002). One can get a copy at
