Research

My research focuses on CCA component software for high-performance simulations in computational science and engineering, with emphasis on automation of the development, deployment, and performance tuning of parallel applications. Specifically, this work involves building a comprehensive CQoS infrastructure that incorporates component behavior metadata and component proxies for performance/memory/power modeling and dynamic substitution of components. The CQOS infrastructure includes support for performance measurement, monitoring, and analysis of scientific simulations with the end goal of providing CQoS-enhanced adaptive multimethod linear solvers.

Software

BleuJay: Automatic Generation of Performance and Memory Models. The compilation of software includes command line utilities and performance measurement libraries that currently supports performance measurement for OpenMP and MPI codes.
