Parallel Programming with MPI Tutorial at Argonne

The PMRS team recently presented a tutorial on Parallel Programming with MPI at Argonne National Laboratory. The tutorial was open to outside attendees who pre-registered and included a full day of talks by Pavan Balaji, Rajeev Thakur, Rusty Lusk, and Wesley Bland. In addition to a general introduction to MPI, more advanced topics were also covered including: hybrid programming with threads and shared memory, one-sided communication, nonblocking collectives, and topology-aware communication.
