NAME

imgdisk - Disk image manipulation


SYNOPSIS

imgdisk [-h] [-v] [-in=DISK] [-conf=CONF] [-fstab=FSTAB] [-v] [-test] [-mbr|nombr] [-fstab=FSTAB] [-in=DISK] -out=DIR [-zrate=ZRATE] [-v] [-test] [-mbr|nombr] [-fstab=FSTAB] -in=DIR [-out=DISK] [-ldisk=LDISK]


DESCRIPTION

Backup/restore the MBR, partition table information, and ext2 partition contents of disks.


OPTIONS

-in=DISK or -in=DIR
Select the source disk for a backup operation or the source directory for a restore operation.

-out=DISK or -out=DIR
Select the target disk for a restore operation or the target directory for a backup operation.

-conf=CONF
Select the configuration file with the partition information.

-fstab=FSTAB
Select the partition/file-system containing the /etc/fstab file.

-mbr|nombr
Select whether the Master Boot Record should be backed up or restored.

-test
Don't actually do anything, but go through the motions.

-h, --help
Prints the usage message.

-v, --version
Prints the version of imgdisk.
