Work on Jumpshot is partially supported by the ASCI Center on Astrophysical Thermonuclear Flashes at the University of Chicago. The initial modeling code there is Andrea Malagoli's ASTRO3D. Jumpshot is being used to analyze its performance. An initial trial run is illustrated in Figure 9 . The complexity of this picture, which just shows one iteration and 8 processes, whereas ASTRO3D is routinely run for many iterations on hundreds of processes, illustrates the need for continued work on advanced analysis features in support of scalability as log files become large.
