Grid Level Energy Storage for Integration of Renewable Energy

Funding: Internal LDRD, Argonne National Laboratory.

Synopsis: Develop and apply advanced optimization and simulation methods to analyze the value of energy storage and improve the understanding of the role storage will play in a future grid with large shares of variable renewable resources.
