- 6/2020. Started a new NSF project on Deep Learning for In Situ Analysis and Visualization, in collaboration with the Ohio State University and University of Notre Dame.
- 10/2019. InSituNet won the Best Paper Award in IEEE VIS 2019.
- 05/2018. We are going to give a tutorial on feature tracking in IEEE VIS 2018. Co-organizers are Harsh Bhatia, Tino Weinkauf, Gunther Weber, and Han-Wei Shen.
- 08/2017. Starting the new position as an Assistant Computer Scientist.
- 08/2017. Won the 2017 Postdoctoral Performance Award in Basic Research.
- 07/2017. A paper on dynamically load-balanced parallel particle tracing is accepted by IEEE VIS 2017. This work was done by Jiang Zhang, an Argonne summer student from Peking University.
- 01/2017. A paper on in situ vortex tracking in superconductor is accepted by PacificVis 2017.
- 06/2016. We are going to give a tutorial in IEEE VIS 2016: Recent advancement of feature-based flow visualization and analysis. Co-organizers: Jun Tao, Bei Wang, Tino Weinkauf, Christoph Garth.
