  • 6/2020. Started a new NSF project on Deep Learning for In Situ Analysis and Visualization, in collaboration with the Ohio State University and University of Notre Dame.
  • 10/2019. InSituNet won the Best Paper Award in IEEE VIS 2019.
  • 05/2018. We are going to give a tutorial on feature tracking in IEEE VIS 2018. Co-organizers are Harsh Bhatia, Tino Weinkauf, Gunther Weber, and Han-Wei Shen.
  • 08/2017. Starting the new position as an Assistant Computer Scientist.
  • 08/2017. Won the 2017 Postdoctoral Performance Award in Basic Research.
  • 07/2017. A paper on dynamically load-balanced parallel particle tracing is accepted by IEEE VIS 2017. This work was done by Jiang Zhang, an Argonne summer student from Peking University.
  • 01/2017. A paper on in situ vortex tracking in superconductor is accepted by PacificVis 2017.
