I am an Assistant Scientist in the Mathematics and Computer Science division of Argonne National Laboratory, mentored by Pete Beckman.
Earlier, I was a postdoc at the Mathematics and Computer Science division between August 2011 and May 2014, guided by Charlie Catlett. I also participate in technical advisor roles in various classes and projects lead by Douglas Pancoast at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago since 2011.
I received my PhD in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University in 2011. While at LSU, I was a member of the Tangible-Vizualization group headed by Brygg Ullmer. During my Ph.D. studies, I was predominantly advised by Brygg Ullmer, Jagannathan Ramanujam and Jerry Trahan.
I bring with me a decade of experience in Embedded Systems, beginning with my contributions toward a Student Satellite tracking system in 2003 as part of my undergraduate project at Periyar University, India. During my graduate education, I researched and developed a distributed embedded platform called Blades and Tiles, initially motivated toward use in prototyping Human-Computer Interaction devices. Blades and Tiles are an instance of the distributed embedded system construct called Embedded Aggregates.
