There will be a banquet at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, starting 6:00 PM open bar/appetizers, 7:00 PM plated dinner. A free shuttle service will be provided for the attendees.

Euro MPI/USA 2017 has a block under the group "Euro MPI Meeting September 2017," reserved at the Aloft Bolingbrook Hotel at the GSA rates, currently at $112. Reservations for this room block are available until September 12, 2017 and should be done through this link.
Shuttle service between Argonne and the Aloft Bolingbrook Hotel will be provided at no cost for the attendees.

If you are traveling to the United States with a passport issued by any other country, you must apply for a visa. Please read these procedures carefully:
To apply for a visa, you must have a “letter of invitation.” The Euro MPI/USA 2017 organizers will issue letters of invitation to assist the process. Be sure that you have registered and paid in full. Then, send your request to [email protected] with title “Request Visa Letter of Invitation for First Last”, and provide the following information:

Role at the conference: Invited Speaker / Author Attendee / Standard Attendee
Affiliation
Legal address
Place/date of birth
Source of funding
Name/email of contact at Embassy (if available)
Once we have received this information, we can send a PDF signed letter confirming your registration.
After you receive the letter of invitation, visit your local United States embassy webpage or call consulate for the visa application procedure. For information on the embassy or consulate closest to you, see Links to United States Embassies and Consulates Worldwide. We strongly recommend that you start the process as soon as possible in order to obtain the necessary documents.
Note that when you go to the embassy or consulate for your interview, you will be asked to pay a nonrefundable application fee and submit necessary materials. Detailed information can be found in the US Embassy webpage in your county.
