Developers and contributors
to the Access Grid Project can now share information with the AG Team
and each other at the new Access Grid Wiki.

Grid Toolkit 2.1.2 Available!
The Access Grid Toolkit 2.1.2 is available for download. Highlights for
this release include:
- Non-administrative users do not
need to do anything special the first time they use the AGTk software.
If initialization is needed it is detected and done automatically.
- Shared Applications have been
significantly enhanced:
- The AG Package Manager (agpm.py)
program is used to install shared applications on a per user basis.
- On Windows the Shared Browser
and Shared Presentation are included and preconfigured for all users.
- On Windows the agpm.py (AG
Package Manager) is registered with the system to handle *.shared_app_pkg
files -- users can distribute shared applications by simply dropping
them in the venue. Installation is as easy as double clicking them
to install.
- The Venue Client does not
need to be restarted to use the newly installed applications.
- Rat has been modified to to detect
and properly configure itself in the presence of multiple active network
interfaces on Windows, including machines running VMWare.
- BridgeServers coming and going
from venues do not cause the venue client media tools to restart.
- (On Windows) The Video Producer
knows the location of vic by default.

The Access Grid Toolkit 2.1.1 is available for download. This is a bug
fix release for 2.1, which improves the stability and functionality. For

Grid Toolkit 2.1 Available!
The Access Grid Toolkit 2.1 is available for download. Packaging has again
been reorganized to be only one windows installer for everything except
python and wxpython. For more information on this release see the official
release page. This release delivers functionality that will be usefuly
to SC Global, but all users! Highlights include:
- Support for Unicast Bridging Services.
- Completely re-engineered certificate management.
- Venue Server fallback configurability.
- A Node Configuration Wizard.

Grid Toolkit 2.0 Final Available!
The Access Grid Toolkit 2.0 is available for download. Release Candidate
1 clients need to be upgraded to function properly with the Transitional
Venue Server. Packaging has been reorganized to be only two windows
installers for everything except python and wxpython. For more information
on this release see the official release page. The tutorial code for the
Shared Browser and the Shared Presentation applications is availabe with
this release.

The Access Grid Toolkit 2.0 Release Candidate 1 is available. This release
requires upgrade to function with the Transitional
Venue Server. There is also an updated Windows
Globus package. For more information on this release see the official

Grid Toolkit Beta 3 Available!
The Access Grid Toolkit 2.0 Beta 3 is available and we recommend this
release for user testing. This release
is avaiable as RPMs for linux and installers for windows. This release
is preconfigured to use the Transitional Venues
Server, and will operate as a personal node on a single windows box
(laptop or desktop reference platform). There is also a new release of
the windows
globus package, which fixes last weeks expired certificate problem.

Grid web site. This release
is avaiable as RPMs for linux and installers for windows. This release
is preconfigured to use the Transitional Venues
Server. There is also a new release of the windows

Laboratory Access Grid web site. This release
is available as RPMs for linux and a windows installer. This release is
preconfigured to use the Transitional Venue
Server. There is also a new release of the windows
globus package, but not the linux globus package.

Consumer service on the machine you install it on.

A fix has been put in place and a new alpha is available for download.
